As a Document Controller, you will play a crucial role in the delivery of projects, ensuring the smooth and efficient management of documentation throughout the project lifecycle. Key tasks and responsibilities include maintaining project filing systems, controlling and distributing project documentation, managing and updating the project extranet, and ensuring compliance with document management procedures.
The requirements of the role are:
– Previous experience in a similar role within the construction or architectural industry
– Excellent knowledge of document control procedures and systems
– Proficiency in MS Office and document control software (4Projects, Conject, etc.)
– Strong communication and interpersonal skills
– Highly organised and detail-oriented, with a focus on accuracy and quality
– Ability to work well under pressure and to tight deadlines
– Familiarity with UK building regulations and construction processes
– A commitment to continuous learning and professional development
